Filter Browse to the cards you want

• FeatureFilter groups at the top of Browse's sidebar. Tick a group, or some of its pieces, and every tag you click shows only the cards that match: a video's high-yield cards, say, or its cards tagged for Step 1 and Step 2. Decks with AnKing's tags start with one group; right-click to make your own.
• FeatureOptional check boxes beside the tags in Browse (turn them on in AnkiBoss Settings). Tick several videos to see their cards together, or untick one to leave it out. Ctrl+tick adds a tag with AND.

Find the lesson for any video

• FeatureA new Lessons window (Lessons in Anki's top bar) puts your lessons under the same tags as Browse: #AK_Step1_v12 › #Bootcamp › Dermatology › … › the video. Type a video's name to find its lesson. A video with no lesson yet is under All tags, where Get lesson… shows the price before anything is charged.
• FeatureIn Browse, right-click a tag in the sidebar and choose AnkiBoss lesson for this tag.
• ImprovementIn the results of Find cards for a document, click a card and it shows on the right, as it looks in review.
• ImprovementA clearer AnkiBoss menu: items grouped by what you're doing, each with a tooltip, a Help page, and Sign in / Sign out at the bottom. Lessons and Search Cards are in Anki's top bar too (Settings can hide them).

Dashboard menus fixed

• FixThe dashboard's Period and Categories menus open as a normal list again, instead of a blank white box that kept growing.

See a card as you search

• ImprovementIn Search my cards, click a result and the card shows on the right, as it looks in review.
• ImprovementThe Tag button in Search my cards and in a card match's results asks what to call the tag. A card match can still add a sub-tag for each of the document's topics.

Search your cards, match them to a lecture

• FeatureCard Search: AnkiBoss → Search my cards… (Ctrl+Shift+F) finds your cards from a topic, a question, a patient or a misspelling, in any deck. Results appear as you type; press Enter for a smart search that ranks the best matches first.
• FeatureIn Anki's Browse window, start a search with ? to get the same smart ranking there.
• FeatureSmart searches are free every day and never use credits: 20 a day on Free, 500 on Basic, unlimited on Standard and Pro.
• FeatureCard Match: AnkiBoss → Find cards for a document… reads a PDF, PowerPoint, Word, text or Markdown file and finds the cards in your decks that match it, grouped by the document's topics, best matches first. It works on any deck.
• FeatureFrom the results, open the cards in Browse, tag them by topic, build a filtered deck or unsuspend them. Each match is saved to your account at ankiboss.com/card-match.
• ImprovementA rebuilt dashboard: retention is counted the way Anki's True Retention counts it, categories come from your deck's own tags and are compared with your own average, and your most-missed cards can become a lesson in one click.

Faster popups and a richer glossary

• ImprovementTerm-lookup popups open noticeably faster, with the most-looked-up explanations served straight from the add-on's local database.
• ImprovementThe popup now sanitizes explanation text before rendering, so formatting stays clean on every card layout.
• ContentExpanded the bundled set of rich explanations — more terms ship with full detail and organ-system tags out of the box.
• ImprovementBackground sync keeps your local glossary current with new and updated explanations without slowing down review.
